Region Challenge 2012 - Make and Ornament We had so much fun with the 2011 MAR Jar Challenge
that we decided to do another challenge in 2012.
An ornament is an adornment, a garnish, a decoration, an embellishment. MAR is encouraging
members to adorn, garnish, decorate, and embellish to their heart’s content
with the 2012 Ornament Challenge. Ornaments can celebrate any event, any season,
any reason. There are no limits on size, technique, or materials as long as it is a stitched
piece. $25 MAR gift certificates will be awarded for: People’s Choice Best

of materials Most Unique The entry fee is $3.00 per piece until Feb. 1, 2012; after
that the cost is $5.00. You may enter as many pieces as you’d like. Please enter by using the coupon found in this newsletter. Participants are responsible for getting their creation to and from the March 16-18th Region meeting Weekend
in Williamsburg, VA. Stitchers may also choose to enter one or more of their ornament (s) into a Silent Auction to benefit
the MAR PriDe Scholarship Fund .
