THaP... (Take Home a Program) - This is designed to help augment the chapter’s program offerings. A program is presented that is in-
tended to be taken back to the chapter to be incorporated into their schedule. The project, typically, should
be doable during a regularly scheduled meeting (occasionally two). The region pays the teacher who devel-
oped the project and it is recommended that the chapter pay the associated kit fee for their participant. If
the session is not filled with chapter representatives by a designated date, the program is available to other
interested members.
MAR PRiDe Scholarship Program... (Mid-Atlantic Region Past Region Directors Scholarship program).
Monies available to any region member to pursue their interest in the needlearts. Up to $1000 lifetime, is
available. Requirement upon completion is recommended to be along the lines of an article for the Region
newsletter or development of a program for the chapter. More information is available in the Handbook
which is on the website. Applications are also there.
Joan Masterson/Edie Feisner Memorial Chapter Education Fund... Monies available for the chapter to be used
for a workshop/program. Typically in the past requests were made to support bringing in a National teacher,
either independently or through ITT. More information is available in the Handbook which is on the website.

SMART Day... (Stitching Mid-Atlantic Region Tutorial Day) - wqs usually held in conjunction with the fall Board
of Directors meeting. The Region brought in a national/regional teacher who was willing to take up to
50 students. Usually a one day program . The region paod all costs related to the teacher (travel, hotel, meals, fees, etc.)
and the participant only had to pay the kit fee (of course their hotel/meals). This was started as a way to introduce members
to quality offerings without having the expense of going to either a regional or national Seminar.

Student Code of Conduct
EGA fosters values of honor, mutual respect, cultural sensitivity, integrity, and responsible conduct.
Students are expected to behave consistently with these principles, during in-person or virtual classes,
displaying common courtesy towards their teacher and fellow classmates. Students will use their best
efforts to listen during instruction and will not be disruptive. Students will not unduly monopolize the
teacher’s time and attention to the detriment of their fellow classmates. Students will limit contact with
the teacher to the classroom or online methods deemed acceptable by the teacher. At the discretion of
EGA, students who violate the code of conduct may be asked to leave class and/or the event.
